Three Big Updates

As I'm working on all new lessons and content for November, I wanted to let you know about three big announcements for Chasing Sound, all starting this month. Let's get right into all the news:

The Stars Aligned (Song In September Challenge)

Last month I took donations on my Song In September Challenge song, The Stars Aligned. I donated every single cent to my sister, and sister in law for their Avon 39 Walk to End Breast Cancer.

So many of you asked me if the song would be on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, etc. Well, the good news is that today it is! The song is slowly making its way to all streaming services and the most popular stores.

Check it out, and let me know what you think! As soon as I have links to all the stores, I'll add them to this post.

Amped Up! Show 100 With Giveaways

Amped Up!, my guitar radio show is nearing it's 100th episode in a row. I've done a show every day, for over 90+ days, in multiple countries. Last week the show got into the Top 20 shows, out of thousands. We made it all the way to #13! How cool is that?

Because the show has been such a success, I wanted to give back to you guys who are listening. This Friday is the 100th show. If you listen to the show and comment on the giveaways segment, you'll have an opportunity to win one of two hour long Skype guitar lessons in November.

If you haven't listened already, the show is like a behind the scenes of this website. You get sneak peeks and lots more. If you enjoy reading this site, the show is a great companion to it. You also might want to check out Six String Sunday newsletter, which you can sign up for on the sidebar of this site.

Those are 2 of my favorite things I'm doing for Chasing Sound right now.

Often there are great posts from other guitar sites that I'd like to comment on. Keep an eye out on the main site for excerpts of these posts, and links to any relevant Chasing Sound articles that might go along with them.

I just did the first one yesterday, commenting on Guitar World's Top 10 List of Pick Squealers, and I included my How to do Pinch Harmonics post along with it. I hope you enjoy these posts, and they should help keep the front page fresh with guitar stuff all the time!

November's Gonna Be Awesome!

I'm really looking forward to all the fun we're going to have right here in November. If you're looking for me to cover something, whether that be news, a technique, a song, a certain guitar player or more, please let me know.

You can always reach out by emailing me at Brian@ChasingSound.com, or by Twitter or Facebook.
